A woman's head and shoulders, hair dressed up and back, cut off at the chest the way an antique bust is, standing on a turned socle over a short fluted column. Thirty-six centimetres: tall enough to hold a console or a shelf on its own, small enough to pick up.

Cast in resin and finished three ways. Black and white are flat and chalky, all modelling and no shine. Gold is a soft gilt that catches a lamp.
